Meals That Fit The Bill.
Here is how we will put the skills into practise..
The students will make an omelette as their first task which they can enjoy for a snack
We will make a small Stirfry to use the vegetables we used for chopping practise
Tomato Based Sauce:
In this session we will be making a Bolognaise Sauce as an example of a Tomato Based Sauce
The students will learn how to create a White Sauce from scratch using the Roux method and together with the Bolognaise sauce they will use this to make a Lasagne to bring home
Lunch will be one of these quick, easy and nutritious pots that can include a variety of ingredients and also demonstrates how to thicken a sauce using cornflour
