Timings: 2.00pm – 5.00pm (These timings also include enough time to eat here, you will finish earlier if you are choosing to take your goodies home)
Menu: Xmas pavlova wreath, chequerboard biscuits and chocolate yule log.
Description: Jodie will be running a Christmas baking session. First of all we will be making Christmas pavlovas. Baking gently the meringue on a low temperature. Then whipping cream to go on top with other Christmas themed ingredients. Next will be the chequerboard biscuits, we will make the 2 different colours and Jodie will show how to put the biscuit dough together to create the special effect. Lastly we will be making the chocolate yule log sponge and buttercream which we will be put together and decorate. If you would like to bring a special plate and decorative accessories for your log you are welcome to! There will be lots of skills with this class and a few challenges which we are sure everyone will enjoy.
Please bring containers and tupperware to take the pavlova and yule log home.
Everyone attending the class is welcome to go at their own pace, some groups work quicker than others! We have a 3-hour session to allow you to go as quickly or slowly as you wish. When they are younger children in the group it will be slower…it is just about enjoying yourselves. We will assist you as you go along to make all the delicious food.
If you would like to cook with more members of your family or with more friends, you can have up to 4 people at your Adult & Child Cookery Station.
Pricing: £55 for 2 Adult portions and you can have up to 4 people at a station, working together in a team.
You will only need to purchase 1 ticket for your cookery station.
