Menu: Mexican chicken rice bake with mini bolillos & sweet sopapillas
Description: This class is all about Mexican spices and flavours. We will be exploring traditional Mexican food which is delicious. First we will make chicken rice bake with lots of Mexican flavour. Vegetarian options are available please request when booking. Next is the mini bolillos which is a type of savory bread made in Mexico and Central America. It is a variation of the baguette, but shorter in length and features a crusty exterior and a soft and pillowy inside.
For dessert we will be making the sopapillas. A sopapilla is a crispy, fried pastry and it is often served with cinnamon sugar, honey or syrup.
You’re going to need tupperware to take the sopapillas home with you! There are lots of skills to be learned in this class with Jodie.
Everyone attending the class is welcome to go at their own pace, some groups work quicker than others! We have a 3-hour session to allow you to go as quickly or slowly as you wish. When they are younger children in the group it will be slower…it is just about enjoying yourselves. We will assist you as you go along to make all the delicious food.
