Description: Our second bread course features a tasty beer & bacon bread that uses baking powder as a leavening agent. We will also be making a simple yeast bread dough to produce breadsticks. These are a great accompaniment to many meals and are quicker than bread rolls! Dish number 3 is the all-time favourite of homemade nacho chips, loaded with cheese, guacamole, salsa and sour cream.
Finally, sourdough is always a popular choice for bread makers. In this class you will create your own sourdough starter that you can take home and lovingly care for! (Please bring a jar for this). Gretchen will then demonstrate the different steps of the sourdough process so that you can replicate them at home.
Please note that this class is not suitable for gluten allergies / intolerances.
Please bring tupperware for any leftovers.
We give out all these recipes so you can repeat them at home.
