Recipes: Chicken Rice Pot and Jammy Dodger biscuits
Description:
This February half term we have the 9+ yrs cookery session and we will be making chicken rice pots from scratch. Firstly making a marinade for the chicken and cooking the chicken in the oven. They will then cook the rice on the hob and add vegetables. They will combine the chicken, vegetables, and rice to create their own chicken rice pot. We will be eating them here in our dining room.
For a sweet treat we will making jammy dodger biscuits. They will make their biscuit dough and roll it out. They will then cut out shapes and bake them. Once cooled they will add the jam and sandwich them together. They will take the biscuits home so please bring along tupperware.
Important stuff:
All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class. There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child onto the class. Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our holiday clubs are a fun and safe environment with up to 16 children attending, they are noisy and busy. We expect all the children attending to behave respectfully and listen to instructions from the staff for their own safety and for the success of the class.
