Recipes: Spaghetti bolognaise and loaded flapjacks
Description: We will be making bolognaise from scratch with either beef mince or Quorn (please let us know when booking if you would like the vegetarian option). To go with it we will cook the spaghetti and they will serve it on a plate and eat it here in our dining room.
Then they will make flapjacks and weigh and mix all the ingredients together, they will be able to add extra ingredients like chocolate chips and dried fruit in as well if they wish. These will then be baked in the oven. They will take their flapjacks home so please bring along tupperware.
In between making there will be activities in our dining room.
We do provide water during the class but they are welcome to bring their own drink bottle.
Important stuff:
All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class. There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child onto the class. Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our holiday clubs are a fun and safe environment, this class will have up to 16 children attending, so they are noisy and busy. We expect all the children attending to behave respectfully and listen to instructions from the staff for their own safety and for the success of the class.
