Recipes: Chicken breaded strips, with Jolly Jackets and Cookie Bites
We are starting the February holidays with this 4+ yrs cookery session.
We will be making bread crumbs and creating breaded chicken strips. This is messy and fun! We will then be making jolly jackets, where we bake jacket potatoes, scoop the flesh out and re-fill them with the soft potato with a choice of ingredients that they can choose from and then we bake them again – delicious. They will take their savoury course and eat this in the dining room.
Then they will make chocolate chip cookie dough and shape them into little balls and bake them.
They will take their cookie bites home so please bring along tupperware.
In between making there will be colouring and activities in our dining room.
We do provide water during the class but they are welcome to bring their own drink bottle.
All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class. There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child onto the class. Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our holiday clubs are a fun and safe environment, this class will have up to 16 children attending, so they are noisy and busy. We expect all the children attending to behave respectfully and listen to instructions from the staff for their own safety and for the success of the class.
