Recipes:  Chicken satay skewers, halloumi skewers with sweet chilli dip, beefburger and chips and smores

Description:  This is a longer 3 hour session and it is all about learning new skills in the kitchen.  Gretchen will be teaching how to make a satay marinade for the chicken and making chicken skewers. Next we will make halloumi skewers with a sweet chilli dipping sauce (it can be as mild or spicy depending on your taste)  Using our own galloway beef we will make burgers from scratch and a bread bun.  Chunky oven chips to accompany all your savoury dishes is a must!  They will eat their savoury food in the dining room.

For a sweet treat we will be making digestive biscuits for our homemade smores and will sandwich them together with chocolate and marshmallows.

We can cater with alternative ingredients for vegetarians so please ask when booking.

In between making there will be activities or chill out time in our dining room.

We do provide water during the class but they are welcome to bring their own drink bottle.

Important stuff:

All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class.  There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child onto the class.  Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our holiday clubs are a fun and safe environment, this class will have up to 16 children attending, so they are noisy and busy. We expect all the children attending to behave respectfully and listen to instructions from the staff for their own safety and for the success of the class.
