Recipes: Loaded Crackers, Pizza bombs and Profiteroles with Chocolate sauce
Description:
We have a variety of Easter holiday clubs for all age groups. This is a longer cookery session for 11 years and over.
Firstly we will be making crackers from scratch for a snack then loading them up with a choice of toppings like carrots, cucumber and cheese.
We will be making and kneading pizza dough. This will then be laid in a muffin tin to create pizza bombs. The children will make a fresh tomato sauce and ladle it into their pizza dough bomb. They will then fill it with ingredients of their choice like peppers, pepperoni, ham and cheese etc. Then the dough will be pressed together to create a bomb shape pizza! Once it has been baked in the oven, they will eat this in the dining room for lunch.
Then they will make their profiteroles with choux pastry which we will bake and let cool. These will then be piped with whipped cream. They will make a chocolate sauce that they can drizzle over their profiteroles, yummy!
They will take their profiteroles home so please bring along tupperware (you might even get to try some!)
In between making there will be time to relax in our dining room.
We do provide water during the class but they are welcome to bring their own drink bottle.
Important stuff:
All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class. There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child onto the class. Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our holiday clubs are a fun and safe environment, this class will have up to 16 children attending, so they are noisy and busy. We expect all the children attending to behave respectfully and listen to instructions from the staff for their own safety and for the success of the class.
