This is a 2 day cookery camp for children that really love to cook! This is for 11 – 17 years olds. Date: Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th August Times: 8.30am – 4.00pm each day
Over the 2 days the children will make their breakfast, snacks and lunch which they will eat here in our dining room. In the afternoons they will create a dinner which they will take home for the family. They will cook a variety of food and learn lots of kitchen skills. It is a busy and fun 2 days. There will be opportunities for breaks and if it is sunny they will be able to sit out and relax between cooking! They will need to bring plenty of Tupperware for any extra food and for their evening meal. There are vegetarian alternatives for all the recipes, please let us know when booking.
Day 1: Full English Breakfast, Cinnamon Biscuits, Fresh Pesto Pappardelle Pasta, Cheese Straws, Chicken Pie with Crushed Potato Topping (to take home), and Chocolate Tiramisu with Ladyfinger Biscuits.
Day 2: American Pancakes, Cheese & Bacon Muffins, Stromboli (rolled Pizza), Cookies, Chilli Con Carne (to take home), a sweet treat – technical challenge; Mini Cakes, Brownies and Chocolate Bourbon Biscuits
All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class. There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child on to the class. Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our holiday clubs are a fun and safe environment with up to 16 children attending.
