11+ 2 DAY COOKERY CAMP – AUGUST

Description:  This is a 2 day cookery camp for children that really love to cook!  This is for 11 – 17 years olds.

Date: Wednesday 21st August and Thursday 22nd August.

Times: 8.30am – 4.00pm each day

Over the 2 days the children will make their breakfast, snacks and lunch which they will eat here in our dining room.  In the afternoons they will create a dinner which they will take home for the family.  They will cook a variety of food and learn lots of kitchen skills.  It is a busy and fun 2 days.  There will be opportunities for breaks and if it is sunny they will be able to sit out and relax between cooking!  They will need to bring plenty of tupperware for any extra food and a baking dish for the pies to take home each evening for dinner.  There are vegetarian alternatives for all the recipes, please let us know when booking.

Day 1: Breakfast omelette, crumpets, chicken rice pots, chocolate fudge sundae, cottage pie (to take home) and treacle tart

Day 2: American pancakes, loaded crackers, instant pizza, loaded flapjacks, chicken pie (to take home) and the meringue challenge.

Important stuff:

All children are dropped off and left with us for the duration of the class.  There is a parental consent form to fill in when booking your child onto the class.  Please let us know if they have any specific food requirements, health or educational needs so we can offer the best possible experience for them. Our 2 day camps are a fun and safe environment with up to 16 children attending, they are noisy and busy. We expect all the children attending to behave respectfully and listen to instructions from the staff for their own safety and for the success of the class.
