The Farm Cookery School Alternative Provision
The Farm Cookery School is a Wiltshire Council approved provider of Alternative Provision. Wiltshire Approved Alternative Provision (WAAP) providers are quality assured in terms of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, teaching and learning arrangements.
We run weekly term-time cookery sessions on a Wednesday from 10am – 12.30pm.
There are 6 sessions per term, at a cost of £450 per learner (£75 per session per week).
We aim to cook a main and dessert each session, for example: pizza dough and lemon biscuits, fish goujons with loaded jackets and mini victoria sponge, pasta from scratch with meatballs and brownies, beef burger and chips and chocolate bourbon biscuits, spaghetti bolognese and muffins.
Commissioning a place at The Farm Cookery School
We have produced a useful Guide to our Alternative Provision offerring, which provides full details of how the commissioning process works:

The WAAP directory of providers is available on ‘Alternative Provision Resources – Right Choice (wiltshire.gov.uk)’ along with resources including full guidance for commissioners and a series of useful guidance including:
